Electrofusion Welding Machine

Automatic multi-function electrofusion welding units for jointing PE and PP pipes through electrofusion fittings. Barcode scanner reads each fitting's welding parameters; the machine then regulates output voltage and timing with energy-output compensation for ambient temperature, ensuring repeatable, certified joints. Suitable for trenchless installations, gas networks where butt fusion is impractical, and remote service connections.

Product Description

The Electrofusion Welding Machine drives current through embedded heating coils inside electrofusion fittings to fuse them onto HDPE pipe. It is the joining method of choice for confined trenches, gas networks and field repairs where butt-fusion clamps cannot fit.

Advantages and Characteristics

1. Barcode reader auto-loads each fitting's voltage / time profile — operator only confirms. 2. Energy compensation for ambient temperature ensures uniform fusion in winter and summer. 3. Datalogger stores every weld with operator ID, fitting code and ambient temp for traceability. 4. Output up to 110 V / 800 A covers fittings from DN20 saddle to DN800 coupler. 5. Compact, generator-compatible — designed for field use in remote locations.

Typical Applications

1. Gas-distribution joints inside narrow urban trenches. 2. Trenchless rehabilitation projects (relining). 3. Service connections between mains and building meters. 4. Branch saddles tapped onto live mains. 5. Marine and submerged pipe joining where dry working space is unavailable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for HDPE / PVC pipe?

Standard MOQ varies by product — generally 1 ton for HDPE pipe, 500 kg for PVC pipe, and one full container for export orders. Custom MOQ is available for sample / pilot projects — contact our sales team for confirmation.

What is the typical lead time?

For stocked sizes, 7–10 days from order confirmation; for custom OD / SDR / colour, 25–35 days. Production capacity exceeds 2,000 t/month — large project orders are scheduled in batches.

Which certifications does Primepoly hold?

ISO 9001, ISO 4427, AS/NZS 4130, ASTM F714, AWWA C906, WRAS and NSF 61. Documentation accompanies every shipment, and third-party inspection (SGS / BV) is welcome at the buyer's request.

Do you offer OEM and private-label manufacturing?

Yes — we manufacture pipes and fittings to customer-specified OD, SDR, length, colour, marking and packaging. MOQ for OEM orders typically starts at 5 tons or one full container.

How are pipes packaged for export shipping?

Pipes are bundled with PE film / steel strap and stowed by length: short pipes (≤6 m) ship in 20'/40' containers; long pipes (>12 m) ship by break-bulk vessel or flat rack. Coil rolls are shrink-wrapped and palletised. Free OBL with shipping documents.
