Product Description
The Primepoly PVC stub flange & backing ring assembly provides a flanged connection from PVC-U pressure pipe to flanged equipment — pumps, valves, tanks, or steel piping — without compromising the PVC's chemical resistance. The PVC stub bonds to the pipe by solvent-weld; the loose galvanised or stainless backing ring carries the bolt load.

2. Bolt-hole drilling per ANSI 150 lb, EN 1092-1 PN10 / PN16, or JIS 10K — specify per project.
3. Galvanised carbon steel backing as standard; AISI 304 / 316 stainless on request for marine or chemical service.
4. Free-spinning backing ring allows easy bolt-hole alignment during assembly.
5. Sizes DN50 – DN500, PN10 / PN16.
Typical Applications
Standard at pump suction / discharge connections, isolation valve flanges on chemical or potable-water lines, tank inlet / outlet nozzles, transitions between PVC pressure pipe and flanged steel pipework, and at meter manifolds. Used wherever the PVC system meets metal infrastructure that's specified with flanges rather than threads.
Quality and Compliance
Every Primepoly PVC stub flange and backing ring is moulded from food-grade, lead-free PVC-U compound and tested to ASTM D2466 (Sch 40), ASTM D2467 (Sch 80), ISO 1452-3 and EN 1452-3. Optional NSF/ANSI 61 certification is available for potable-water service. Pressure ratings PN10 / PN16, working temperature 0–60 °C, service life over 50 years when installed per manufacturer guidelines.

Standard MOQ varies by product — generally 1 ton for HDPE pipe, 500 kg for PVC pipe, and one full container for export orders. Custom MOQ is available for sample / pilot projects — contact our sales team for confirmation.
What is the typical lead time?
For stocked sizes, 7–10 days from order confirmation; for custom OD / SDR / colour, 25–35 days. Production capacity exceeds 2,000 t/month — large project orders are scheduled in batches.
Which certifications does Primepoly hold?
ISO 9001, ISO 4427, AS/NZS 4130, ASTM F714, AWWA C906, WRAS and NSF 61. Documentation accompanies every shipment, and third-party inspection (SGS / BV) is welcome at the buyer's request.
Do you offer OEM and private-label manufacturing?
Yes — we manufacture pipes and fittings to customer-specified OD, SDR, length, colour, marking and packaging. MOQ for OEM orders typically starts at 5 tons or one full container.
How are pipes packaged for export shipping?
Pipes are bundled with PE film / steel strap and stowed by length: short pipes (≤6 m) ship in 20'/40' containers; long pipes (>12 m) ship by break-bulk vessel or flat rack. Coil rolls are shrink-wrapped and palletised. Free OBL with shipping documents.
